In recent years, the trend of bathtub livestreaming has developed very strongly on the Twitch platform. Basically, streamers have exploited the loophole that allows wearing bikinis at livestream locations such as beaches, bathtubs, and hot springs on Twitch to show off their bodies and attract donations. This trend has grown so rapidly that Twitch even designated it as a separate category instead of grouping it with Just Chatting as before.

When this trend became popular in the West, it quickly caught on with Korean female streamers as well. In fact, in the case of a group of female streamers below, they even combined the bathtub content with bringing their pets on stream. However, this content faced quite a bit of opposition from audiences who claimed that this group of streamers was “abusing” their pets.

Specifically, yesterday – November 17, streamer Momoro went live with a few friends at a hot spring. They wore very revealing bikinis and cuddled their adorable puppies while interacting and even dancing on stream. Fans of this female streamer had quite an eye feast as they witnessed the hot bodies of the streamers while also being charmed by the cuteness of the pets.

However, when this video was widely shared on social media and forums, this group of female streamers faced heavy criticism. Just the act of using pets to “nag” for donations was already a negative point in the eyes of the online community. Furthermore, allowing them to play in the hot spring environment was deemed dangerous to the health of these pets. As a result, Momoro and her friends were accused of “animal abuse.”

Explaining on social media later, streamer Momoro said that she only wanted to create unique content and had no ill intentions towards those pets. Perhaps she needs to be more careful in her future livestreams to avoid such criticism. This female streamer has only been active for a short time with over 13 thousand followers, which is not a very large number. It would be unfortunate if she faced criticism to the point of quitting after such a short time.
