Honor of Kings has been very successful in the Chinese market. The evidence is that despite being released only in this country for many years, Honor of Kings has always been the top-grossing game globally. Of course, this includes the combined revenue of Arena of Valor in several prominent markets like Vietnam, Thailand, and Taiwan.

However, many Vietnamese gamers believe that even when Honor of Kings releases its Global version in the near future, it will still struggle to compete with this mobile MOBA game. This is the game considered to be superior to Arena of Valor in the Southeast Asian arena and even globally.

That game is Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. This assessment even comes from a portion of the Arena of Valor community in Vietnam, not just from Mobile Legends players. Although it is not as strong in Vietnam as Arena of Valor, and does not compete with Honor of Kings in China, on a global scale, according to Vietnamese players, Mobile Legends “defeats” both of the aforementioned names.
Of course, Honor of Kings has not officially been released yet and is only being tested in one market. However, Tencent’s slow rollout of this game to the world has allowed Mobile Legends to become “unrivaled” in its spread. Just in the Southeast Asian arena alone, Mobile Legends has surpassed Arena of Valor as it is preferred in more countries.

While in Southeast Asia, Arena of Valor is only prominent in Vietnam and Thailand, Mobile Legends is loved in Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia… Just that is enough for this game to surpass Arena of Valor.
On a global scale, Mobile Legends also outshines Arena of Valor. Meanwhile, Honor of Kings has yet to set an official release date. Even when it is globally released, this game will require a lot of time to update content, change graphics to match the Chinese version, and capture market share. Therefore, the assertion that Mobile Legends defeats both Tencent games is not wrong, at least at this point in time.
