True to its “promise,” at 10 AM today, Call of Duty: Mobile VN was officially released to all Vietnamese gamers. Prior to that, VNG allowed players to pre-download the game on both the App Store and Google Play to avoid “traffic jams” and enable gamers to jump into the game immediately without waiting for the download process. After all, Call of Duty: Mobile VN has quite a large file size.

It’s no surprise that it’s heavy, because Call of Duty Mobile, and in Vietnam known as Call of Duty: Mobile VN, is one of the most visually stunning mobile FPS games currently on the market. With significant investment from both Activision and Tencent, it’s easy to see why this product is so grand. Call of Duty: Mobile VN incorporates all the classic elements of the Call of Duty series and has been perfectly adapted for mobile.

However, like many other blockbuster mobile games in the past, Call of Duty: Mobile VN encountered some issues on its first day of launch, despite allowing gamers to pre-download a few days earlier. The most common issue players faced was difficulty logging in, being unable to matchmake, or when they did manage to find a match, they couldn’t connect with opponents.

However, this issue did not occur for all players, as some encountered different errors. This caused a portion of Call of Duty: Mobile VN fans to feel “disheartened.” Nevertheless, after a short period, players were able to matchmake and enjoy the game as usual.

According to reports on the Call of Duty: Mobile VN Fanpage, it seems these issues have been resolved. This situation is completely understandable, as an overwhelming number of users accessing at the same time could likely cause server hiccups; this is a basic and common problem with popular products that receive a lot of attention from gamers.

This also somewhat highlights the appeal of Call of Duty: Mobile VN among many Vietnamese gamers. Whether loved or hated, at this moment, it’s hard for any mobile FPS product to surpass Call of Duty Mobile both globally and in Vietnam. This issue indicates that the number of players accessing the servers of Call of Duty: Mobile VN was indeed very high at the time of its opening at 10 AM today.

Previously, the Vietnamese version of Call of Duty Mobile announced its official release date on April 20. During the two days of Alpha Testing from April 14-16, the Vietnamese mobile version also received mixed reactions from the community. Vietnamese gamers still tend to “defend” and show affection for the Garena version, partly because it has fewer hacks and doesn’t exploit players. However, the images below show that it doesn’t really matter whether the Garena or VNG version of Call of Duty Mobile, as the game can still be
