In recent days, heavy rains and floods in Central Vietnam have caused significant damage to people and property, forcing many into dire situations. Amidst this crisis, the entire country has rallied in support of Central Vietnam. Not only are there words of encouragement, but many have quickly donated money and goods in hopes of alleviating the hardships faced by the people in Central Vietnam. Among them are renowned streamers and gamers from the Vietnamese gaming community.
Recently, Linh Ngọc Đàm posted a series of stories calling for contributions to aid Central Vietnam. She even included a screenshot showing that she had transferred a sum of money to singer Thủy Tiên, accompanied by a message: “For my beloved Central Vietnam”.
The actions of the female streamer have received much praise and have contributed to spreading the message of solidarity towards Central Vietnam during this time. However, there were still messages from anti-fans mocking her, claiming that her support came too late. As someone known for being straightforward, Linh Ngọc Đàm did not hesitate to respond.
Linh Ngọc Đàm stated that helping fellow countrymen is a good thing, but she doesn’t see the need to “broadcast it” for everyone to know. The reason she publicly shared the screenshot of the transfer was simply because she had the time to open a Q&A on Instagram and wanted to encourage more people to contribute; in reality, she had already made her donation earlier.
“I’m sorry, but I help my fellow countrymen without needing to announce it to the whole village. It just happened that today I had time, so I opened an ask and transferred some money to promote it as well.”
“Don’t measure a gentleman with a small-minded person. People like you only know how to criticize and find faults in good people. Have you even contributed a dime to help Central Vietnam? You can mock me as much as you want after transferring your money, and I’ll still be okay with that!”, Linh Ngọc Đàm wrote.
Besides Linh Ngọc Đàm, many streamers and gamers such as Nam Blue, Tín Dubai, Hoàng Luân, Độ Mixi, ViruSs, Ngân Sát Thủ… have also called for support to contribute to a common fund to assist the people in Central Vietnam. The number of KOLs in the Vietnamese gaming community publicly calling for donations is quite substantial, with the total amount raised reaching nearly 2 billion VND.
Additionally, numerous renowned streamers and gamers are also united in support of Central Vietnam.
