The victim’s daughter, Xiaolin, later accepted an interview with the media and shocked everyone by revealing that her father was infatuated with a female streamer named Anna. It is known that before his death, Xiaolin’s father had recklessly spent money several times to buy gifts for the streamer Anna, even borrowing additional money from outside to please his idol. However, when he could no longer afford to pay and was directly “blocked” by Anna, removed from her chat channel and livestream sessions, he became desperate and pushed his life into a dead end.
Specifically, according to Xiaolin, her father was very wealthy and affectionate in the past, so his relationship with Anna was very good. There were times when the streamer even took time to call and chat with him until the early hours of the morning. And that was when her father tried every means to win the beautiful streamer’s favor, swiping his card daily to buy gifts to help Anna top the daily, weekly, and monthly rankings. At times, he even lent Anna various amounts of money. Xiaolin reportedly had fierce arguments with her father, but he would not listen and always believed he would marry Anna soon – just as they had promised each other.
But then, after a donation of over 300,000 RMB (approximately over 1 billion VND), Xiaolin’s father was truly financially devastated. And that was also when he was ruthlessly blocked. There are reports that after being blocked by Anna, Xiaolin’s father went to the police station to report the crime but hesitated and ultimately chose to solve the problem himself without seeking help from the police, as he had initially intended. Ultimately, that was his last trip.
