Pokimane is one of them, and it would not be an exaggeration to say that she is among the most famous female streamers in the world. The question arises: if given the choice, how much would Pokimane’s fans pay for the opportunity to play a game one-on-one with her?
This seemingly “mindless” question surprisingly soon has an answer. Recently, Pokimane participated in a charity auction, where the item up for bid was the chance to experience playing a game exclusively with Pokimane on Twitch. The funds raised will be used by the female streamer for charitable purposes. Not only is Pokimane charming and skilled at interacting, but she also possesses a relatively beautiful and attractive appearance. Therefore, it was no surprise that it did not take long for the bid amount to soar.
The initial bid was only $1 as a symbolic amount, but it quickly escalated to hundreds of dollars. After a few hours, the thousands of dollars mark appeared, and then the amount of $30,000 (about over 750 million VND) maintained its position as the highest bid for a long time. However, just a few days later, a series of other famous male streamers joined in, and currently, the highest bid to play a game with Pokimane has reached $500,000 (over 12 billion VND).
It is unclear how the auction validates the bids and how many of those are real or just tricks from other streamers. Nonetheless, it must be acknowledged that Pokimane’s appeal is indeed immense.
