Sky News recently reported on a British gamer named Aidan Jackson (17 years old) who experienced a seizure while playing an online game. At that moment, his female friend Dia Lathora (20 years old, located in Texas, USA, over 8000 km away) noticed something was wrong and immediately called an ambulance to help her friend.
Specifically, Aidan said he felt strange and wanted to lie down for a bit. Later, Dia noticed Aidan showing signs of a seizure and he stopped responding to her. Sensing the situation was urgent, she immediately called the police in Cheshire to come to the rescue of her distant friend.
Aidan’s parents were downstairs and were unaware of the situation until the police and ambulance arrived at their door, prompting them to rush upstairs. Aidan was then taken to the hospital, and his health is now stable. He had also experienced a seizure back in May 2019.
