Sousou no Frieren (Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End), known in Vietnamese as Pháp Sư Tiễn Táng, is one of the most popular animated series of Fall 2023 (from October to December). This is clearly reflected in the way the series trends with each new episode, and the main character Frieren is at the center of many new memes that emerge weekly.
One of the latest memes about Frieren is titled “You just need to give this to men and they will feel excited.” This meme is inspired by two images taken from episode 12 of the anime Sousou no Frieren. In these images, Frieren appears with a very confident demeanor and a mysterious smile. It is this attitude and the mischievous smile of the composed Frieren that surprises many and leads to its spread on social media.
With the idea behind this meme, fans have altered what Frieren is holding in the available images to make it humorous.
At one point in the episode, Fern tells Frieren that Stark is about to turn 18 and asks her what she will give him. Frieren takes a potion from a chest and says, “If I give them this, men will be very happy.” On the same day that the anime episode aired, this scene became a trend on social media, and gradually, memes began to appear.
