Exactly one year ago, many people even thought that the era of the “Four Kings of Streamers” might have come to an end. This was when ViruSs seemed to want to develop his business and music career, while Pewpew even announced his retirement, pausing his livestreaming activities to focus on his shrimp farm and bakery. On another front, Xemesis had long ceased to be very active and was busy preparing for his wedding. Only Độ Mixi remained the one who frequently streamed the most.

However, no one expected that 2020 would mark a strong comeback for all four pieces with many memorable milestones and contrasting emotional experiences.
Pewpew

Announcing his retirement and halting all livestreaming activities around mid-2019, many envisioned Pewpew would later emerge as a successful businessman, as he dedicated a lot of effort to his bakery and shrimp farm. This perspective was strengthened when, on a few occasions, he appeared on stream without playing games as before, instead focusing on chatting and interacting with viewers at a relatively sparse frequency. However, it was surprising when, at the beginning of 2020, this streamer decided to make a comeback.

Accordingly, not only did he return to livestreaming and continue to play games and chat joyfully, Pewpew also participated in many other activities. Although his follower count and metrics were no longer at their peak, Pewpew still maintained a large loyal fanbase. Just when it seemed 2020 would end for Pewpew in a rather incomplete manner, as he recently faced mixed controversies after appearing on the game show “Nhanh Như Chớp”, unexpectedly, in the final days of the year, he made his fans extremely happy by teasing that he had officially proposed to his girlfriend – something many were looking forward to for a grand wedding next year.
Xemesis

When it comes to completeness, 2020 could be considered a perfect year for Xemesis. There weren’t many activities or memorable highlights during livestreams; however, he scored the most important goal of his life, officially bringing his bride Xoài Non home with an incredibly luxurious and grand wedding.

It can be said that Xemesis’s wedding has become the most noteworthy highlight in the streamer community towards the end of the year. This is quite justified, as the time from the announcement of the engagement to the wedding day has been nearly a year. Although he no longer streamed as much as before, 2020 will certainly be a very memorable year for Xemesis.
Độ Mixi

As the only one still dedicating much time to livestreaming, Độ Mixi also experienced a year filled with various emotional highs and lows. There were many successes, as he even became the top name in the top 10 content creators on YouTube Vietnam and is considered one of the most famous streamers in Vietnam at present. Alongside his professional success, 2020 was also a year where Độ Mixi welcomed many “new” things, from a lovely angel to a spacious and luxurious villa. Not to mention, his MV “Stream Until When” also made it into the top 10 most outstanding music videos of the year.

There were highs, but also some lows that were still very positive. This includes the controversy over language used during streams – which the streamer himself admitted was a mistake, and he has made many adjustments in his language while streaming. This has only made Độ Mixi more beloved.
ViruSs

The final piece in this list is ViruSs – a name that has also likely gone through quite a range of emotions in 2020.
Speaking of his career, 2020 was a year filled with many highlights for ViruSs. Due to the impact of the pandemic, as ViruSs shared, the VR Studio in Bangkok was quite “down” while the café in Hanoi would be sold or leased out. However, in return, ViruSs also had quite a few noteworthy highlights, including a recent product collaboration with MC Trấn Thành and singer Thùy Chi, as well as many hit songs this year. He also garnered a lot of love from fans with his reaction videos, but at the same time, found himself in many controversies. Additionally, he became a very young CMO of GearVN.

However, it was also a year that was not entirely complete for ViruSs, as after 5 years, 1 month, and 3 days, his dreamlike relationship with Ngân Sát Thủ came to an end. This also caused quite a stir in the online community for a long time.
Additionally, there was a noteworthy highlight for ViruSs at the end of the year, as he continued to appear in the nominations for the WeChoice Awards 2020 in the category of Gamer/Streamer of the Year. The nomination phase is still ongoing, so hurry up and vote for ViruSs here.
