After the turmoil between Jack and K-ICM, although both sides are currently silent and focusing on their own personal plans, it seems that things have not yet returned to normal for K-ICM. Not only in Vietnam, but even when performing abroad, K-ICM still faces attacks from the online community back home.

Specifically, just recently, he was invited to perform at the Legends Festival music festival, scheduled to be held in Pattaya (Thailand) on January 31, which attracted attention from many people. Alongside K-ICM, it is also a gathering place for top DJs and producers from many countries such as Zico, Steve Aoki, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Quintino, and more. The organizers also gave K-ICM high praise when they posted a picture of him on their fanpage with the introduction: “We would like to introduce K-ICM, an artist from Vietnam. He is a keyboard player like no other. Let K-ICM amaze the audience at this wonderful music night“.

However, no one expected the reaction from the post to completely go against the organizers’ intentions. Instead of attracting fans’ attention, it became an opportunity for K-ICM’s anti-fans or those who hold prejudices against him to attack him freely. Specifically, in the comments section, the Vietnamese online community collectively boycotted him, claiming he did not deserve to be at the event, even going to the trouble of writing comments in both English and Thai to express their views. This attack was likely effective, as by the evening of January 19, the festival’s fanpage had to remove the images and posts about K-ICM, leaving only the posters of other artists.

Although the post on the fanpage has been deleted, K-ICM will still appear at this music festival in Thailand. However, it is certain that after this incident, K-ICM’s image will be somewhat affected not only domestically but also with international friends.
