In recent days, Free Fire officially released the MV Rap Battle: Streamer Showdown featuring a series of prominent streamers from this game such as AS Mobile, Gao Bac, Co Ngan, Ichi, Lao Gio… This is definitely one of the products that Garena has invested in and put a lot of effort into, gathering many famous streamers.

Objectively speaking, this product is well-crafted in terms of shooting, editing, and the “rappers” team… however, as with anything, there will always be differing opinions. Some players, who identify as “toxic,” have criticized this Free Fire product as sounding “like torture,” and even this player has been quite harsh in their critique of this musical product. Specifically, this player commented as follows:
“My personal opinion about the Rap
Toxic #2
Speaking about this ** *** thing, I have to say *** there is no objectivity at all, because I am toxic.
Yes, it is a rap battle of streamers specializing in Free Fire, a visually appealing MV that looks very high quality, well-invested.

But it’s like ***
First is the lyrics. The opening calls out some kids, referring to them as nobodies. Then in AS’s verse, it suddenly shifts to how great he is. Almost the entire song is just self-indulgent, narcissistic lyrics from these wannabes. It’s all about who’s better, my fans are awesome, what are you losers even doing but riding fame… Later, each person gets 4 lines, mostly to lead into someone else’s lines, vague and unclear. I don’t even *** understand what they are talking about. Each rapper only gets 2 lines before passing it off. It’s not rap; it’s more like these guys are having a circle conversation. Wordplay isn’t special, all the rhymes are simple, the power is like a child’s punch.
Second is the voice and flow. I must say, the voices of a few are stuttering and awkward just like Kenny You, *** nothing clear at all. It’s like they’re mumbling, with no enthusiasm. So the flow is just flat, makes you want to sleep. The pauses are oddly placed. Honestly, about half the people are like that; the rest I think are quite okay and engaging.
Third is the choreography. I guess they didn’t know what to do other than flail around, trying to go for a hip-hop style. So they had to add a bunch of flashy effects to cover up that shortcoming. *** to be honest, it looked like those Spirit Benders in Avatar: The Last Airbender (2009) dancing. Cringe-worthy as hell. Imagine you just *** and are flailing your arms in a dream just like these guys.
Watching this entire MV is truly torture, *** *** it.

It can be seen that this player’s review is quite “harsh” as many elements were criticized. From choreography, rap lyrics… However, many players argue that these streamers are not professional rappers. In fact, for them, participating in such an MV could be seen as amateurish, so what is presented in the MV could be considered “acceptable.”

Indeed, satisfying all players is a challenging task; even when a music product is quite elaborately and grandly invested, it still faces reactions and criticisms from the community.
