The name Lộc Fuho is likely no longer unfamiliar to the Vietnamese online community; in fact, one could say he is a unique bird in the YouTube landscape. Not particularly handsome, lacking well-crafted clips, and even admitting to being somewhat ridiculous while doing hard labor as a construction worker, this guy attracts a lot of attention by sharing images from his construction life on YouTube and has achieved considerable success. The latest evidence is that he has even built a house, which, although not very lavish, is still a dream for many people.

However, just recently, Lộc Fuho unexpectedly faced a lot of criticism when rumors surfaced that after becoming successful thanks to YouTube, he had quit being a construction worker – a job he was once very proud of and which helped him reach his current status. The evidence is that his current clips hardly contain any images from the dusty construction sites as before. In fact, many opinions suggest that he was only pretending to be poor and struggling to gain views previously. In response, Lộc Fuho hastily made a video to clarify things to his fans.

“Many people say I am fake, just trying to gain views to make money, and there are comments saying that I previously claimed I wouldn’t quit my job when I became rich, but now it seems I’ve quit. Hearing these words makes me very sad. I am human too, not a stone that doesn’t feel sad, right everyone?” – Lộc Fuho shared with his viewers.

After that, he also confirmed that he had not quit his job but just worked less because of various commitments: “The situation of working, currently I just work less. Occasionally, I still go to work, buy drinks, help the uncles and aunts for a few hours, and then go home. It’s not that I want to quit. I also ask the uncles and aunts to take photos and film clips with me. Thanks to them, I am who I am today, so I will never forget this. I hope everyone can understand me.”

After Lộc Fuho’s confirmation, there are still many opinions divided among the online community. Some believe that he is being genuine and still retains his original simplicity, while others think it remains to be seen, especially after his success on YouTube has brought him enough financial stability to buy a house and a new motorcycle.
