Currently, Độ Mixi is the hottest streamer in Vietnam, boasting a large fanbase. Each of his streams attracts over 100,000 viewers on YouTube. Therefore, it’s safe to say that Độ Mixi holds significant influence over the Vietnamese gaming community and social media.
However, his fame and influence have also brought him numerous troubles. Recently, during a livestream, Độ Mixi revealed that he received threats of violence if he continued his streaming career.
The exact wording of the threatening email sent to Độ Mixi reads: “Hello! I am writing this email to warn you, and I give you 3 days to announce your retirement from streaming! If not, if I see you outside, I will stab you to death. Okay, that’s it!”
Độ Mixi shared that he felt very confused upon receiving the anonymous threatening email. The leader of the “Mixigaming tribe” promptly reported the incident to the authorities and also drafted a response email to warn the anonymous threatener.
Clearly, Độ Mixi handled the situation very politely and completely in accordance with the law. This is also how one should respond when faced with threats to their health and life, something many people should learn from.
After Độ Mixi sent his response email, less than an hour later, the anonymous sender replied. However, in stark contrast to the aggressive tone of the first email, the individual expressed remorse and apologized profusely, hoping Độ Mixi would withdraw his report to the authorities.
Clearly, with fame and being known by many does not come without its downsides. There are still many hidden corners and the ugly behavior of some individuals that impact private lives, even threatening health and life.
