When it comes to animals like bears, tigers, and lions, most of us immediately think of them as quite dangerous and fierce creatures that typically wouldn’t have the opportunity to “live on the same land,” let alone become friends. However, just recently, this seemingly rare story has appeared in real life and has left the online community utterly surprised.

Specifically, according to information published by the Daily Mail, Baloo the bear, Leo the African lion, and Shere Khan the tiger are even becoming a “trio of soulmates” in their “shared home” in Atlanta, USA. It is known that all three were rescued from illegal captivity in 2001, and they have been living together ever since. Contrary to their typical ferocity, these three friends live extremely peacefully, sticking together like shadows from eating and sleeping to bathing and playing. In fact, they are often referred to as the “BLT group” (short for Bear, Lion, Tiger).

In fact, according to many staff members at the sanctuary, they initially planned to separate the trio for care. But surprisingly, after being separated, they became very depressed, gloomy, and even stopped eating. So, they realized that it was best to let them live together as a family.

In 2016, lion Leo encountered health issues and had to live in a separate cage for treatment. At that time, Leo’s brothers always visited him whenever they could. However, later on, it was discovered that he had a tumor, malignant liver cancer, and sadly passed away shortly after. Then in 2018, Shere Khan the tiger also passed away due to old age beside his kind bear friend. The BLT trio is now down to one, but they have become a legend in the hearts of many online communities.
