Recently, the online community in China was surprisingly abuzz with a clip capturing a rather adorable story about a young man and a beautiful girl on the subway. According to the footage, while standing on the train, the young man happened to notice a stunning girl next to him and couldn’t resist pulling out his smartphone to capture a memory. However, this action inadvertently caught the attention of the girl opposite him.
However, the outcome that followed was quite surprising, as instead of reprimanding the young man for his intrusive behavior and taking a photo without permission, the beautiful girl unexpectedly approached him in a friendly manner, even boldly snatching the phone from his hand and inviting him to take a selfie together. This heartwarming conclusion left everyone astonished and envious of the main character’s unexpected “lottery win”.
Although the story took place in China, it quickly spread to Vietnam where it was received by our online community in very different ways. Some expressed their discontent, claiming that life is unfair, and wondered why the young man was so lucky while they remained single. However, many others seemed quite “sharp” in their observations, suggesting that this clip was staged for TikTok, and cautioned not to believe in such scenarios as they are merely deliberate setups. In fact, several comments condemned the young man’s secret filming actions and candidly stated that such stories only exist in fairy tales; in real life, if one did that, they would either face consequences or receive unfriendly glares from those around them.
