There are very few Mobile MOBA games that are backed by two giants like this product. And there are also very few games that receive the license for original characters as premium as the one below. That game is none other than Marvel Super War, a MOBA game backed by two giants: NetEase and Marvel.

Marvel Super War has been quite favored as it holds the rights to many many superheroes in the Marvel universe and is published by NetEase, one of the prominent giants in the Chinese market. From the very first days of news about this game being released, Marvel Super War received great expectations from gamers, especially Vietnamese players. Those who wanted a breath of fresh air to change things up when they started to feel bored with Arena of Valor.

To be fair, Marvel Super War is well-invested in terms of visuals and gameplay, with many features similar to Arena of Valor Mobile. The character system features superheroes licensed from Marvel, with their appearance and skills meticulously and intricately designed. The gameplay involves three skills, does not require ward placement, and is not as hardcore as League of Legends: Wild Rift; even the map is not excessively vast.

Marvel Super War, although not officially released in the Vietnamese market, can be downloaded relatively easily by gamers through a few basic steps. Additionally, this game has already equipped the Vietnamese language in the settings. It was thought that Marvel Super War had gathered all the favorable conditions of timing, location, and harmony of people, but until now, this product has been considered a “dead” game by Vietnamese players.

The main reason Marvel Super War is not accepted by the majority of Vietnamese gamers is that it has not been officially released in Vietnam. Although downloading it is not difficult, most Vietnamese players dislike having to struggle to play Marvel Super War, not to mention that they have to repeat this process every time there is an update.
Furthermore, the small number of players, difficulty finding matches, and prolonged matchmaking times are significant reasons that make Vietnamese gamers increasingly frustrated with Marvel Super War. The community in Vietnam is already small, the unofficial release means that international players are often out of sync with time zones and not too many, resulting in dedicated Vietnamese gamers becoming increasingly discouraged.

Therefore, despite possessing many attractive elements and having a promising start, it is still difficult to say that Marvel Super War is a rival to Arena of Valor Mobile at this point. Furthermore, although there have been rumors about this product being released in the Vietnamese market, it remains just that—rumors. Before Marvel Super War, titles like Vainglory and AOG – Glory Arena have also failed in the Vietnamese market; Arena of Valor, although no longer holding its previous monopoly position, still remains a strong name in the Vietnamese gaming scene at present.
