The name PewDiePie is probably no stranger to the online community. Known as the leading individual YouTuber in the world, he even boasts a following that has surpassed 100 million. However, PewDiePie truly became a sensation during his dramatic rivalry with T-Series throughout the early part of last year. And although he ultimately lost the battle, PewDiePie left a lasting impression on his fans and was honored as the king of YouTube worldwide.
Famous for his humor, wit, gaming skills, and interaction with viewers, very few people have focused on PewDiePie’s looks until now. No one can deny that PewDiePie looks quite charming, but to be considered among the top handsome men in the world, even his fans might not have imagined that happening. However, surprisingly, just recently, PewDiePie was honored, not in the gaming or YouTube category, but specifically, he was named the most handsome man in the world.
According to a recent announcement from TC Candler, a well-known website with a long-standing tradition of beauty awards, PewDiePie unexpectedly became the most handsome man of 2020, surpassing many names such as Thor (Chris Hemsworth), members of BTS, and even Superman (Henry Cavill). Meanwhile, famous names like David Beckham only ranked 26th.
This has left not only the online community but even PewDiePie’s fans in disbelief. Admittedly, as seen in the above photo, when posing like a model, PewDiePie’s looks are indeed impressive. However, when compared to members of BTS or even Beckham, it’s hard to imagine that this YouTuber would be so strongly recognized in beauty-related categories.
