The main content revolves around the sorrow and loss in Wanda’s past and explains the formation of Westview. The episode is not only emotionally charged but also brings shocking twists, hinting at the intense future of the Marvel universe and Episode 9 of the show.
Faced with the “tear-jerking” moments of WandaVision, many viewers rushed online to discuss. Most opinions agree that this episode is outstanding, and moreover, it explores psychological themes that Marvel rarely takes seriously.
In Episode 8, WandaVision reveals the reason Wanda created the force field around Westview is due to her overwhelming grief over her husband’s death. Moreover, she didn’t even have the chance to hold a proper funeral for Vision. At the same time, the witch Agatha Harkness is trying to contain Wanda, believing her powers are too strong and dangerous. Additionally, the SWORD organization has fabricated stories that Wanda stole Vision’s body back to Westview. In fact, this organization successfully reassembled Vision and resurrected him once again, using him as a weapon.
