I bet that during your time playing League of Legends, you’ve encountered situations like these more than once. Consider this a self-assessment for us to reflect on where we still lack and need to improve.
Check if you’ve fallen into these traps.
Facechecking While You Still Have Vision and Skills
Sorry, but this mistake happens even in professional matches, let alone in casual games. As soon as this mistake occurs, the chatbox lights up with the word “green” as a gift for those who just went straight to the death screen.
There are many skills that can check bushes, yet many players are unnecessarily stingy. They peek in and get hit with full CC before heading to the death screen. Frustrating!

Dealing Damage and Coldly Turning Away… While the Enemy Survives
If you’re frustrated by this, just imagine how your teammates feel. There are countless players who are confident enough to step into the tower for a final shot, while you have the chance to finish them off but choose to turn away coolly. It’s ridiculous!
If you don’t want to receive unnecessary ping complaints, make sure to finish off your opponents before heading out.
Completely Ignoring Damage Calculation
I’m not saying you need to calculate every single point like a pro player, but at the very least, you should know how much damage you can deal before thinking about diving in for a kill.
A Zed with a score of 0/10/2 won’t have any damage to speak of, yet they confidently say they’ll R anyone and they’ll vaporize. This is what people call being “green,” not confident, my friends.

Pinging for Team Fights Without Noticing If They’re Following
This is a common scenario for many players, even the experienced ones. They see everything is going well and feel ready, so they ping the team, saying things like, “Let’s go, team, let’s finish them off!”
After jumping in and trying to make plays, they end up counting their deaths, only to turn around and see their teammates standing far back, pinging furiously at them. What happened? Just being too inexperienced, that’s all.

Securing Kills Only to Give Shutdowns to the Enemy
You might be respected by your teammates, frequently getting kills and not worrying about gold and items, but this can lead to “puppy blood” behavior, recklessly diving in to fight, and then giving a nice 1000 gold shutdown to the enemy.
Do this three times, and you might as well call it a game over, as the momentum shifts, and the winning game can quickly be tossed to the enemy’s hands. Be careful, or you might end up getting reported as a joke.

Taking Major Objectives in Front of the Enemy
Anything can happen in this game! Supporting a Baron steal isn’t something you haven’t seen before. Taking major objectives in front of the enemy should only happen when all five of them are dead.
My sincere advice is not to trust too much in your jungler’s smite skills. If you want peace of mind, don’t be so inexperienced, my friends.
How many of these mistakes have you made?
