MrBeast – the YouTuber recognized by Forbes as one of the top earners in 2020, with annual earnings comparable to Hollywood star Vin Diesel (Fast and Furious) or F1 champion Lewis Hamilton. Known for his unique and often unprecedented videos, this year, to celebrate his 26th birthday, he has come up with a bold idea. Specifically, this YouTuber is giving away 25 Tesla Model 3 cars and the “grand prize” of a Cybertruck (which can be converted to an equivalent cash amount) to lucky random participants around the world.

To be eligible, participants only need to comment on MrBeast’s event announcement video on Instagram and tag two friends. This YouTuber will randomly select winners from the comments. Notably, the prize is not limited to the United States; winners can come from various countries across different continents such as Australia, Chile, France, Germany, India, Japan, South Korea, or the UK, as long as they are of legal age (over 18). The random prize will be awarded on May 10th. If the winners do not wish to receive the car, they can opt for the equivalent cash amount of $39,000 (991.8 million VND) for the Model 3 and $120,000 (3.05 billion VND) for the Cybertruck.
This is not the first time MrBeast has shocked audiences with his generosity. One of the most famous series that established his name on YouTube involves… giving money to strangers, with a total expenditure of over $1 million in just one year (2017 – 2018). To date, each video uploaded to MrBeast’s YouTube channel involves enormous production costs.

Meanwhile, Khoa Pug is dubbed the richest YouTuber in Vietnam, known for his videos showcasing luxury experiences. Recently, he spent a fortune to conquer the highest mountain in the world. The costs include a climbing permit for Everest amounting to $40,000 (over 1 billion VND) issued by the Nepal government, and helicopter flight costs of 40 million VND per person. Accompanied by a cameraman, his expenses doubled, not including food and accommodation. Notably, he and his team had to stay in Nepal for a week waiting for their flight schedule.

However, due to concerns about his health, the male YouTuber ultimately decided not to climb to the summit of Everest. After having breakfast at Base Camp, he rested to regain strength before taking the helicopter back. Meanwhile, Khoa Pug revealed plans to create review videos about the moon and Mars, stating that “life on Earth feels too mundane for me now.”
