Where to Go and What to Play This Weekend: The Black Myth: Wukong Craze Spreads
Right after the blockbuster Black Myth: Wukong was globally released, many gamers rushed to upgrade their computer configurations to meet the game’s massive requirements. Naturally, the top cyber cafes in Hanoi couldn’t miss this golden opportunity to become the “holy place” for the gaming community.
One of the pioneering names eager to please gamers and install Black Myth: Wukong at all its locations is the famous GameHome brand. Upon noticing the cafe’s announcement on its official fan page, we contacted and spoke with Mr. Nguyễn Duy Anh – the manager of the GameHome chain. Through this, GameHome’s representative shared many interesting insights about their swift decision amidst the “Black Myth” craze, as well as the ongoing spirit in building a gaming community.

“Listening to Gamers” is GameHome’s Strength
Interviewer: Hello Duy Anh, first of all, thank you for agreeing to join today’s conversation.
As the manager of the GameHome chain, could you share a bit about the brand?
Duy Anh: Currently, GameHome has 3 locations in Hanoi. The first branch was established at 19 Hồ Tùng Mậu in 2019, after which we felt that was not enough to satisfy the desires of the gaming community. GameHome then opened two more branches in October 2023 on Láng Street and Lĩnh Nam. The management of GameHome is still considering opening more locations due to the high demand from players.

Interviewer: What are the standout features of the brand?
Duy Anh: One thing I really want to share with gamers is the name GameHome. Starting from individuals who are passionate about Esports, the management aims to create a cyber cafe where gamers feel at home. We hope that when players visit, they will feel free, comfortable, and joyful as if they were in their own house.
Interviewer: Could you share more about the facilities at GameHome?
Duy Anh: GameHome has many areas with different configurations, suitable for various types of games. At the Láng location, we have 180 gaming machines, and this is the largest location among the three in Hanoi.
Interviewer: GameHome has impressive community activities and is also very quick in updating new games; is this a focus for you?
Duy Anh: One of GameHome’s strengths is knowing how to listen to customers. We have created fan pages and community groups for gamers to contribute their opinions and express their needs. Thanks to this, new games like Black Myth: Wukong, as well as major Esports events and viewing parties, are frequently updated by GameHome.

Interviewer: In your opinion, how does fierce competition in the industry affect GameHome’s operations?
Duy Anh: To be fair, competition in business is a must. In the cyber cafe industry, this is also very fierce. However, GameHome’s goal in entering the Vietnamese market is not to compete with other brands. GameHome simply wants to create a new playground where gamers can feel comfortable as if they were at home. The management’s goal is to provide an alternative alongside many existing brands, not for gamers to compare, but simply to help them develop the Esports playground further.
I am very proud to represent GameHome and confidently assert that we will continue to maintain our strengths to expand the Esports playground in general and this brand in particular to the entire gaming community nationwide.
Where to Go and What to Play This Weekend: GameHome is a Worthy Choice with Black Myth: Wukong Available Right at the Cyber Cafe.
Just as Duy Anh shared, all of GameHome’s machines have been pre-installed with Black Myth: Wukong to cater to gamers’ experience needs.
Clearly, with an extremely powerful configuration, players’ experience of Black Myth: Wukong will be complete and perfect. However, gamers should note that to officially “dive into the game,” they will need a personal Steam account with this blockbuster already available.
In addition, GameHome has also completed preparations for the Watch Party of the LCK Summer 2024 Play-Offs at the GameHome facility at 1174 Láng Street. This event is completely free and has a spacious area to welcome enthusiastic gamers.
