Recently, players of Call of Duty Mobile have been unable to log into their game using their Facebook accounts. According to responses from the admin team of Call of Duty Mobile VNG’s Fanpage, the publisher is continuing to work with Tencent and Facebook to complete the necessary procedures in the process of fixing the bugs and upgrading login security. Players are understandably upset, as this concerns their efforts and assets.
However, even in cases where players cannot recover their accounts, they may have to accept a complete loss. This is due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of both VNG and the players. Additionally, many games cleverly incorporate various clauses to protect the interests of the publisher.

For example, VNG’s League of Legends: “The Game is provided to You for entertainment purposes along with Your experiences (for entertainment) in the Game; in compliance with relevant legal regulations, all virtual items, virtual units, rewards, and Points in the Game are not assets, have no cash value, and cannot be exchanged back for money, payment cards, vouchers, or any valuable items for transactions outside the Game; therefore, if Your Game account is deleted and/or the Game is temporarily suspended or completely discontinued (for any reason), all virtual units, virtual items, rewards, and Points mentioned above will also lose their value and will be deleted immediately after completing the procedures as required by law (if any), and VNG has no obligation to refund or compensate any cash or physical items to You; nonetheless, VNG will make efforts to notify You in advance within a reasonable timeframe and have measures in place to ensure Your rights according to legal regulations.”
It is noteworthy that very few players read this user agreement. Even if they do read it, they often do not pay much attention to it. This is the case with the terms of use for League of Legends. As for Call of Duty Mobile, the page is currently even showing a “404” error.
