MrBeast is known as one of the richest YouTubers in the world, a fact that few can deny.
Thanks to his lavish spending, MrBeast has now become the most subscribed YouTuber on the platform. Notably, his show on Prime Video, Beast Games, is what fans call the real-life version of Squid Game, where 1,000 contestants compete for a prize of up to $10 million.

This show has also become the most-watched unscripted series ever on Amazon, with 50 million viewers in the month it started streaming. However, the YouTuber seems to still express regret over these successes.
The cash prize of $10 million is also the largest in the history of game shows. Initially set at $5 million, throughout the series, MrBeast doubled that amount by flipping a coin. This is just one of the reasons MrBeast says that although Amazon provided a budget of $100 million, he still had to pay “tens of millions” out of his own pocket to supplement the show.

“Creating Beast Games was not a wise financial decision,” MrBeast stated. The YouTuber also admitted that he lost too much during the filming process. MrBeast explained that the cost for just one episode in the 10-episode series could exceed $15 million, even $50 million for the first two episodes. In the end, he had to admit that he was a fool for investing in this show.

However, while he may have lost money, MrBeast’s fame has greatly increased. The YouTuber is wealthy enough not to worry too much about the aforementioned losses. Yet when asked about part 2 of the show, MrBeast is still willing to sign a contract with Amazon right away.
