TikToker H.S gained fame for his authentic restaurant review clips, providing the most objective evaluations of the eateries he visited. However, about a year ago, this name got embroiled in controversy, peaking with mixed reactions during his visit to Độ Mixi’s business establishment. Here, H.S started with remarks like “I already feel uncomfortable before eating,” “I only paid 80,000 VND for this meal,” and shockingly stated: “This might be the restaurant I’m most reluctant to review because there are so many immature kids here.”

The review clip made the head of the dining establishment Độ Mixi state that he was “at a loss for words”: “I’m scared of you guys, and I don’t know what to say… I think TikTok has many good aspects; it can boost you up very quickly, but sometimes too quickly and too casually, and everything becomes excessive. Our generation, even though we’re only 4-5 years older than you, learned to respect others, and how to interact and connect with people. We don’t have to do attention-grabbing things like starting wars, and all that…”.

After being criticized by netizens, H.S apologized. Later on, he reviewed in a more gentle manner, scoring more fairly. Until recently, while making a video about the most ‘criticized’ restaurant in Hanoi, H.S played the role of a tourist visiting the eatery, directly confirming the unusual food quality, not to mention being threatened by staff, and he didn’t hesitate to use profanity when commenting about the restaurant.

The post trended, attracting the attention of the public. In response to the attitude and comments from the male TikToker, many people who had negative experiences also expressed their sympathy. Meanwhile, others argued that this vulgar delivery style is not commendable. If it weren’t for this undesirable aspect, his videos would be much more professional.
