The trend of IRL (In Real Life) streaming is becoming increasingly popular among streamers at this time.
Although there are still some warnings about limiting streaming in deserted places and not going alone when dangers can lurk for beautiful female streamers, no one expected that just recently, an incident occurred despite the setting being a fairly crowded location, and the streamers were not alone.

Specifically, three famous streamers, Cinna, Valkyrae, and Emiru, became victims of serious harassment while conducting a week-long marathon livestream.
More notably, the incident occurred at Pacific Park, Santa Monica, when a man identifying himself as Russell approached and threatened them live on stream. Initially, the group of streamers simply listened to Russell sing, but soon after, he turned to Emiru, asking for her phone number. When she refused, he became aggressive, moving closer to the group and making threats. Just seconds later, he charged at them, continuing to threaten and harass the group. Fortunately, the cameraman quickly stood between him and the three girls, while security personnel intervened in time to prevent him from getting closer. The three had to hide in a storage room for 15 minutes before the police arrived.

Footage from the livestream shows that Russell was not a stranger who randomly appeared. He had been following the group for some time before approaching them. A clip captured the moment he took a selfie with the streamers and the cameraman, appearing friendly before turning aggressive. The streamers, during their latest broadcast, still seemed quite shaken, to the point of tears.

IRL streaming attracts a massive viewership but also comes with many risks. Over the years, not a few similar incidents have occurred, especially with female streamers, who often face harassment, stalking, and even assault live on air.
