Once they become famous, streamers can earn enormous amounts of money from broadcasting platforms as well as through donations and sponsorship deals.
Jack Doherty – a well-known streamer and YouTuber is one such individual. He does not hesitate to flaunt his wealth by treating himself to a luxury car worth approximately $200,000 (nearly 5 billion VND). However, just recently, Jack managed to wreck both his supercar and, more importantly, his “breadwinner” during a forgettable livestream.

Accordingly, earlier this month, Jack was livestreaming while sitting in his very expensive custom McLaren 570S. However, this meant that the streamer could not focus on driving, as he was constantly checking his phone, texting, and adjusting settings. The accident happened shortly thereafter. The lack of focus, combined with slippery road conditions, caused Jack to lose control of the vehicle, crashing into the right guardrail of the highway and nearly colliding with other cars on the road.

Fortunately, the streamer emerged unscathed after the accident.
While the destruction of the expensive car is one issue, Jack will have to deal with an even bigger headache as Kick – the platform he was livestreaming on – has announced they will terminate his contract and ban him for life. True to their word, Jack’s fans can no longer find his livestream page, only encountering a 404 Error message when trying to access it. There has been significant backlash against the streamer following the incident, with many criticizing him for the reckless act of driving while livestreaming. More importantly, immediately after the accident, Jack still asked passersby to take photos and videos for his future content.

While it remains to be seen what the future holds for this streamer, it will undoubtedly serve as a life lesson for Jack. Unfortunately, he will not have the opportunity to regret his actions as he has been banned for life from the platform.
