Since the beginning of the new year, news about the devastating bushfire in Australia has spread to every corner of the media, worrying the entire world. Regardless of wealth or poverty, everyone is continuously praying for this country. Alongside those who do not have enough material conditions and can only send their best wishes to a nation suffering from calamity, there are many philanthropists who contribute their wealth to support the “warriors” battling the flames and the victims of the disaster. They are the real heroes on the home front.
Early in the morning of January 7, Chris Hemsworth also proved that he is not just a virtual superhero on screen but has officially become a real-life hero by donating a significant amount of money to help firefighters and residents affected by the bushfires in Australia.

The 36-year-old actor, adored by many for his role as the god of thunder Thor in the Marvel Universe films, announced a donation of 1 million USD (over 23 billion VND) for the disaster relief efforts. To date, he is one of the top individual donors.
“Superhero Thor” announced his support on his personal Instagram along with many heartfelt words of encouragement for the country, urging everyone to contribute, no matter how little.
He stated: “As you may know, the bushfire disaster in Australia has caused severe devastation. It is still burning, and the weather is getting hotter. We are currently in a difficult situation with many challenges ahead.”
He continued: “What we need now is everyone’s support. I will personally contribute 1 million USD, and I hope you can give, whether in any form or amount. Every dollar counts. This money will go directly to the firefighters, the victims, and the affected communities. They desperately need our support right now.”
He added: “I want to express my heartfelt thanks to all those who have sent their prayers and donations. Australia truly appreciates you. The deep love among people is what helps us move forward. Let’s go!”
Of course, Chris Hemsworth is certainly not the only hero in this disaster. Previously, famous comedian Celeste Barber had launched a global fundraising effort starting on January 3 and has raised over 40 million USD (927 billion VND) so far.

Many world-famous singers and actors have also enthusiastically contributed to the disaster, such as singer Pink (500 thousand USD), actor Nicole Kidman and her husband (500 thousand USD), billionaire Packer (5 million USD), and many other philanthropists.

Besides the firefighters who are tirelessly stationed at the “fire front” to combat the massive wildfire, every contributor is a true hero. They are not only the “superheroes” of Australia but also of the whole world, because any country, any person, any creature on this planet is a sibling, a beloved child of Mother Earth.
The fire has so far claimed at least 24 lives, destroyed over 1,500 homes, burned nearly 6 million hectares of forest, and killed approximately 500 million animals. This is truly a catastrophic wildfire that has shocked the world, causing severe damage not only to Australia but also to the resources of all humanity. Therefore, be one of the superheroes, contribute even a small part of yourself to save the land of kangaroos and koalas.
