Pornography and Deviance on the Internet
A large-scale investigation took place in New Jersey (USA) when authorities discovered a massage parlor involved in pornographic activities. Through covert operations, investigators collected sensitive images of women wearing only lingerie, which served as crucial evidence to prove the criminal activities of an international trafficking ring.

According to information from the New Jersey Federal Prosecutor’s Office, a group associated with this operation has been active since 2017. They financially operated a spa that specialized in recruiting undocumented Asian women in the U.S. to engage in pornographic activities. The key members of this group include Meixiang Jin (34 years old, USA), Zhejun Piao (37 years old, China), Shangxian Cui (36 years old, China), and MiYeon Choi (37 years old, South Korea).
During the investigation, authorities discovered that this group used the internet to advertise fraudulent services. They posted images of Asian girls, highlighting services related to prostitution such as oral sex. Despite prior information, collecting evidence proved challenging. Ultimately, an undercover officer decided to pose as a customer to gather evidence.
This investigator visited a massage parlor where he paid $160 for the service and a $40 tip. After payment, an Asian girl in lingerie appeared and performed sexual acts on him. Once sufficient evidence was gathered, the investigator left immediately to avoid detection.
With the collected evidence, authorities arrested four key members of this ring. The case was brought to trial at Newark Court, New Jersey on the 9th of last month. Currently, these individuals have been released after posting bail.
This is a form of distorted online pornography, exploiting the internet, social networks, and entertainment applications.
TikTok is also an app with significant online pornography activities
Online prostitution activities on TikTok are increasingly becoming a pressing issue as this platform gradually turns into an environment for illegal transactions.

Previously, this activity was disguised under various accounts and private groups, even linking to external software and platforms. Cybersecurity experts initially warned that, despite implementing many measures to prevent this activity, there were still many loopholes, and prostitution occurred covertly and was difficult to detect. Now, users are shocked as many TikTok accounts openly sell services without reservation: “Fresh seafood 45kg, available in my live stream” – a concise, straightforward advertisement in a post.
