The debate over what to wear, and how to dress appropriately for sports practice, remains ever hot. Especially after many controversies related to outfits in pickleball have caught the public’s attention and sparked lively discussions. Not pickleball, but another sport that has been heavily discussed lately is badminton. Although it’s more traditional and familiar, the drama is not lacking.

Specifically, a notable incident recently occurred. A young girl was seen wearing an “outfit” that was utterly outrageous, if not to say she wore a costume that exposed up to 75% of her body while practicing badminton. The shirt was designed like a backless apron, with an extremely short skirt. This incident quickly became the focal point as the online community witnessed the images and freely expressed their personal opinions.
The majority voiced harsh criticisms, with the community asserting that this action was inappropriate for the context of a badminton practice court and could be offensive to other athletes. They expressed their discontent with the girl’s choice of attire, while also worrying about creating a misleading and unkind impression among serious sports enthusiasts.

Not long ago, a similar case occurred where a pretty girl also wore inappropriate clothing, exposing sensitive areas, leading the online community to comment that she was showing off her body and being over the top.

This raises the question of how to balance personal style freedom while maintaining respect and professionalism in a sports environment. Regardless, the public asserts that the most important thing is the awareness of each individual, whether they are athletes or spectators, must understand and respect the core values of the sport they love.
