On the evening of May 21, on her Facebook fanpage with 2.2 million followers, Ngân 98 unexpectedly uploaded a clip to address the recent controversies surrounding the products she is selling that allegedly do not meet quality standards and stated that the document in her hand is a petition sent to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety.
Specifically, Ngân 98 affirmed that the products she represents have been clearly tested, ensuring quality for consumers, and she herself has conducted cross-testing.
She believes that the actions of slandering and insulting her honor and the products she is representing recently show signs of unfair competition, and she has submitted a complaint to the authorities to protect the rights of the business and consumers.
“X7 Plus herbal pills, Super Detox X3 herbal pills, and X1000 herbal pills are products that have been produced in accordance with regulations,” Ngân 98 stated in the video.
Regarding the information that the products she is selling are alleged to contain banned substances, Ngân 98 asserted that this is untrue.
Currently, she and the related units have established a record of the fabricated acts, slander regarding the products, and submitted it to the competent authorities for handling.
On the same day, in the afternoon of May 21, a source from Báo Người Lao Động reported that the authorities had inspected ZUBU Trading and Services Co., Ltd., located on Pham Van Chieu Street, Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City.

This is the company responsible for the product, which registered the announcement for X1000 aimed at adults wanting to lose weight, overweight adults, and those with obesity. According to the information on the label, the product is manufactured by a GMP-certified factory located in Dan Phuong District, Hanoi.
Recently, there has been widespread information that the weight loss product X1000 associated with the name of DJ Ngân 98 does not ensure quality.
However, at the inspection site, a source from Báo Người Lao Động reported that there is no ZUBU Company, and a search in the system shows that the tax code for this company has ceased operations.
The unit continues to verify information about the product announcement records, the manufacturing company (in Hanoi), and is also trying to contact Ngân 98 directly to clarify related issues.
In the evening of May 21, reporters from Báo Người Lao Động observed at the address 154 Pham Van Chieu, Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City – where ZUBU Trading and Services Co., Ltd. is registered – showing that there is currently a sign bearing the name of this company on the building.
However, when reporters approached and asked the security staff about ZUBU’s activities here, the person responded briefly: “I don’t know!”.
Notably, when asked for assistance in rechecking the information due to the presence of the sign, this staff member became annoyed and said: “Contact yourself, I don’t know!”. After that, this person hurriedly closed the building’s door.
According to observations, currently, Ngân 98’s shop website, introduced on Facebook with her verified account, is inaccessible. However, the weight loss product X1000 is still being sold on several e-commerce platforms.
DJ Ngân 98 (Vo Thi Ngoc Ngan) frequently livestreams selling products, including weight loss items. She often records clips of indulging in food while maintaining a hot body and slim waist to promote her weight loss products.
Moreover, online sources have even claimed that Ngân 98’s weight loss product is now available in the U.S.
