The YouTuber paid a hefty price for his actions.
In esports tournaments, the mischief, creativity, and unconventional antics from gamers, spectators, and participants often bring about interesting and widely appreciated moments. However, no matter how playful one might be, it’s best to avoid situations like the recent controversy surrounding Boogles – an obscure YouTuber who has sparked numerous debates lately.

Specifically, Boogles is still quite an unknown name in the YouTube community as he has yet to reach 1,000 subscribers. Perhaps that is why Boogles has been very diligent in “cracking jokes,” even pulling pranks to attract attention at the recent DreamHack Melbourne tournament. Most of the actions taken by the YouTuber seemed harmless and entertaining at first. However, before long, he began wandering around the venue with a large crowd, carrying two cans of deodorant and attempting to spray them all over the audience.

This act quickly brought discomfort to everyone. Most deodorants contain substances like butane, alcohol, and isobutane – things that no one wants to inhale. Immediately, many people began to feel short of breath or had headaches just minutes after exposure to the deodorant. At that moment, event staff immediately asked him to stop, but Boogles continued to spray until he was forcibly stopped.

Although he was not forced to leave the venue at that moment, Boogles’ actions did not escape the organizers’ notice. It is reported that after the aforementioned outburst, ESL issued a ban on the YouTuber from all of their events. Boogles himself responded with an apology video, but judging by his expression, he did not seem to be very remorseful.
