It can be said that in the transfer window ahead of the new season, GAM eSports has always been the focal point and attracted the most attention from the League of Legends community in Vietnam. From continuously teasing a series of names like Artemis, Slayder, BigKoRo, or even recently Optimus, to the controversies surrounding Yoshino and Zeros’ future overseas, all have been publicly updated by Tinikun on his personal Facebook page. Of course, some of these have become a reality, but others are just mere teases.

However, everything has finally been clarified as GAM has brought in a series of contracts and announced the official roster with new names like Dia1, Palette, and Easylove. And with these names, although the roster no longer includes Zeros or Yoshino, the quality remains undiminished, and it is highly likely that they will still be a dominant force in the VCS with heavyweights like Levi, Kiaya, Dia1, and Palette in the lineup.

But it seems that GAM eSports fans are still not completely satisfied with this new lineup. Evidence of this can be seen in the numerous comments from fans after the team composition was announced, suggesting that this lineup is still insufficient, somewhat thin, and should have new additions. Some even pointed out that the two positions needing improvement are top and jungle, while recommending two players who are currently dominating the Vietnamese League of Legends scene in these positions for GAM.

Despite this, it seems that all may just be playful banter. Because Teacher Three can play gatekeeper at the Diamond rank, but coming back to the professional arena, he would likely still have 100 flawed lesson plans. The cases of Tú Sena or Ning Hải Phòng are similar; aside from carrying Teacher Ba while climbing ranks, Sena is probably old enough to retire from the professional scene. As for GAM’s mid-jungle duo, Dia1 and Levi, there is probably no need to discuss their top-notch quality anymore. And certainly, whether or not the duo of Teacher Ba and Tú Sena is present, GAM eSports’ roster remains the biggest contender for the Spring Championship of VCS 2020 at this point.
