However, shortly after its launch, this Gacha game delivered “bad news”
It is known that Cat Fantasy launched its SEA version around October 2023. Then, in August 2024, the English Global version was released. However, shortly after the Global version was launched, the game publisher unexpectedly announced the cessation of support for the SEA version.
Many opinions suggest that this is a “out with the old, in with the new” move, as the publisher sees greater potential in the Global version and thus “let go” of the SEA version. Others are concerned that the departure of the original version could lead to unfortunate consequences for the game in the future.
Despite ongoing discussions, the fact is that the SEA version of Cat Fantasy will officially be terminated on January 17, 2025.
Clearly, this is a significant loss for the Gacha game genre in general and for the community that loves Cat Fantasy in particular.
