Stopping in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam, HoYo FEST 2024 marks the fourth consecutive year the event has taken place in the Southeast Asia region. With both grand online and offline formats, the event gathered a large number of fans to celebrate HoYoverse’s blockbuster games.
HoYo FEST 2024 Unveils a Vibrant HoYoverse Universe
This year’s HoYo FEST Vietnam was held at AEON MALL Tan Phu Celadon in Ho Chi Minh City. Here, fans immersed themselves in the HoYoverse universe with various exciting activities, such as visiting booths that simulated game titles to complete challenges and receive gifts from the publisher, enjoying unique performances, participating in on-stage events, or purchasing exclusive merchandise from the program. Notably, the audience was extremely excited to watch the livestream preview of the Genshin Impact 5.0 game.
With an endless passion for HoYoverse games, many cosplayers were inspired to transform into their favorite characters, turning the event into a vibrant and colorful cosplay festival. It was not hard to spot familiar characters appearing against the backdrop of mini-scenes recreating images from the game, bringing the enchanting HoYoverse world from the screen into real life.
HoYoverse Aims to Connect, Build, and Honor the Community. For the first time, HoYo FEST 2024 in Vietnam and Indonesia launched the Artist Alley area, a dedicated space for local artists to showcase and sell their artwork.
This exhibition corridor in Vietnam attracted the participation of 26 groups of artists and content creators, offering attendees a variety of products reflecting HoYoverse’s unique style, such as badges, keychains, and paintings.
The Artist Alley can be seen as an important highlight of this year’s event, affirming HoYoverse’s role in connecting, building, and honoring the talent and abundant creativity of the fan community. This is one of the initiatives that emphasizes HoYoverse’s core philosophy of community connection. By providing young creators with a platform to interact with fans, HoYoverse hopes to contribute to nurturing talent and spreading this passion throughout the community.
HoYo FEST 2024 has concluded, but a series of upcoming events from HoYoverse are sure to be highly anticipated by fans in the region. Notably, the Genshin Concert Tour is scheduled to take place in several Southeast Asian countries, along with an exciting collaboration between HoYoverse and the S.E.A. Aquarium expected to occur in September in Singapore.
