Tuyết Ruồi (real name Dương Thị Ánh Tuyết) is a prominent young actor and a key member of the comedy group Gãy TV – a famous YouTube channel known for its rich and humorous content. Thanks to her natural acting style and flexible ability to adapt to different roles, she quickly made her mark in the hearts of the audience. Her active and positive lifestyle has also contributed to her popularity among fans.

With thousands of followers and a lot of fan attention, Tuyết Ruồi cannot avoid being targeted by malicious individuals who exploit her images. This has even led to harmful misunderstandings. Specifically, her personal images were “lifted” onto forums and private groups with captions implying sensitive occupations, openly “quoting prices”. Before being alerted by an acquaintance, the main character in the photos had no idea how long this situation had been going on. Immediately, she posted a message warning her followers:
“I do not create drama; drama finds me.”
“Recently, I discovered that some accounts on social media have unlawfully used my personal images to impersonate me and post harmful content, especially in groups with false claims about my work. I want to clarify: I am completely unrelated to those impersonating accounts and their content.”
“I hope everyone stays alert and does not share or support false content. If anyone sees an account or post using my images unlawfully, please report it or send me information to handle it. Thank you for your concern and support!”

In the comments, Tuyết Ruồi further shared: “Thankfully, my younger sister who used to work at the same company texted me to inform me; otherwise, I would still be unaware of my presence online. No wonder during live streams, I kept getting comments asking, ‘Which shop do you work at?’” – the actress was understandably confused and shocked.

The misuse of personal images is not a new issue. However, the sophistication and prevalence of it are increasingly alarming. Some individuals create fake accounts using images of famous hot girls for the purpose of gaining likes, follows, or, even more seriously, defrauding users emotionally and financially.
In the long run, the unauthorized exploitation of personal images can also impact victims’ career opportunities, reputation, and personal relationships. While social media is a useful tool for building one’s image, it can also quickly destroy everything if users do not know how to protect themselves.
