With a maximum PSN level of 999 and a total of 387,000 trophies, Timpurnat is getting closer to his dream.

On the PSN Profiles leaderboard, Timpurnat currently ranks second with 15,032 platinum trophies and 20,422,230 points (as of the time of this article’s publication). He is closely chasing the leader dav1d_123, who holds the Guinness World Record with 15,489 platinum trophies and 21,228,060 points achieved in December 2023.
For his part, Timpurnat is not far behind, having completed 16,300 titles with a completion rate of 99.23%. On average, he earns 112.2 trophies per day, an impressive figure that keeps him at the number one spot in the UK and second globally.
Timpurnat frequently shares his experience of hunting for platinum trophies on social media. Recently, he posted his thoughts on platinum trophy number 14,929, from the game Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival: “Great music and easy to achieve platinum. I was surprised at how much easier this game is compared to previous versions. Even if I mess up a song, I can still continue my progress toward platinum.”

Five years ago, the record for the number of platinum trophies on PlayStation was just 3,000, held by a gamer from Saudi Arabia. Timpurnat’s current total of 15,000 showcases the tremendous progress of the gaming community in conquering challenges. The journey of conquering 15,000 PlayStation titles and achieving that many platinum trophies has left the global gaming community in awe.
