A prime example is the recent incident involving female streamer Oh Geung-jeong, who may still not have fully recovered from the terrifying experience during her recent trip.
Not long ago, Oh Geung-jeong planned a trip to Jeju Island with friends and rented a pretty decent room. This event drew the attention of many fans, as they had the opportunity to follow the streamer’s exploration journey on their screens.
Initially, the livestream went smoothly as she visited many popular restaurants and tourist attractions. However, an unexpected incident occurred when Geung-jeong returned to her room and accidentally fell asleep while the camera was still recording. At that moment, a frightening situation unfolded. Suddenly, an unknown man sneaked into the room while Geung-jeong and her friend were still asleep. Fortunately, it seemed that upon noticing the camera was live, the man did not act inappropriately; he only quietly stood back and observed, even pulling out his phone as if recording the scene. Realizing the unusual situation, many of the streamer’s fans tried to wake her up by continuously spamming donations, but due to being exhausted after a long day, Geung-jeong was completely unaware of the intruder’s presence.
It was not until the next morning that, upon waking up and reading a series of messages from viewers, Geung-jeong was shocked to review the livestream. Immediately, her team went to the police station to report the incident. Unfortunately, the CCTV system did not capture clear images of the intruder. According to initial investigations, the suspect may have entered through the back door, which the female streamer accidentally left unlocked. A man suspected of the intrusion was arrested, but he claimed not to remember anything due to being drunk.
After the horrifying incident, Oh Geung-jeong immediately left the hotel and shared with her fans that this was the scariest experience of her career. Fortunately, she did not suffer any serious loss or injury.
