As of today, Call of Duty Mobile by VNG still has not received any updates apart from the announcement of “80% progress update” on March 29. Thus, players still need to wait for further updates from Vietnam’s top publisher regarding this blockbuster game. Although VNG has provided a solution for players to use their Facebook accounts to play, many gamers have reported that they are unable to synchronize their data.
This significantly affects the mentality of gamers, especially those who have invested large sums of money into this title and possess a vast inventory of items. In several groups dedicated to this game, players have stated that they have spent considerable amounts on Call of Duty Mobile’s VNG server. Some spent “a few tens of thousands”, others “several millions”, and there are even cases of players spending up to hundreds of millions.

With such a large amount invested in the game, it’s understandable that these gamers’ inventories would be filled with impressive and rare items. Therefore, players cannot accept logging into the game and playing at the starting level with “default” weapons. The frustration and anger felt by gamers is entirely justifiable.

Currently, many gamers are still ‘fleeing’ from VNG’s server to experience the Global server. Certainly, gamers do not want to lose their assets and effort; they just need a truly stable environment to satisfy their passion. Hopefully, VNG and its partners will soon resolve this issue so that players can return to the place they have been committed to for the past three years.
