Recently, the community of cryptocurrency investors in Vietnam was stirred when Zuki Moba was suddenly warned to be one of the GameFi projects showing signs of fraud.
Specifically, the post came from the Twitter account BSC Gems #BSC (@bscgems_news) on January 2, warning: “According to our findings, many #GameFi projects show signs of fraud. Be careful before investing.“

When many investors demanded evidence, the Twitter account BSC Gems #BSC responded: “I’m not saying these projects are frauds. I detected unusual signs, so I warned the community.”
However, specifically regarding Zuki Moba, the BSC Gems #BSC account stated: “Based on the information I have gathered so far, I believe this project shows signs of fraud, but not an immediate fraud!”
Zuki Moba was repeatedly mentioned by hot streamer ViruSs as a promising GameFi project worth investing in. In the investment group on Telegram managed by ViruSs, he advised buying the ZUKI token (Zuki Moba project token) at $0.2-0.3.

Before being “named” in the list of GameFi projects showing signs of fraud, Zuki Moba had many unusual signs when compared to popular cryptocurrency projects on the market.
Accordingly, Zuki Moba’s developers claimed this is an online multiplayer role-playing game inspired by the traditional Japanese throwing festival. However, in reality, this is a “Vietnamese version” of the PoPoWar game from China, integrated with NFT and blockchain elements.
Moreover, the Zuki Moba development team has repeatedly missed deadlines, not fulfilling promises and the “roadmap” – the plan for project implementation and development. The Zuki Moba developers have reportedly quietly edited the roadmap without widely announcing it to investors. This indicates that the programming and game development team lacks credibility and does not fulfill commitments.

Additionally, the project has been pointed out for having an unusual token management method with 95% of the game’s cryptocurrency not locked, which could be sold off at any time. After some users raised suspicions, on December 25, approximately 650 million ZUKI tokens were transferred from the initial wallet address to a locked wallet. The whitepaper of the project also did not mention the unlocking time for the aforementioned tokens.
