Recently, the story of a female streamer complaining about being urged by her family to get married has stirred up the online community.
During a live broadcast, she shared that her relatives introduced her to a “candidate” who earns a mere 2,000 yuan (about 7 million VND), which left her feeling frustrated and bursting into bitter laughter.

“Why introduce me to someone who earns 2,000 a month? Am I supposed to cover all his food expenses?” – the streamer with the nickname Kha Te boldly stated on air.
This complaint quickly made the audience in the chat room burst into laughter, including her colleagues who were connected with her. When hearing Kha Te’s story, a chat room manager unexpectedly commented: “Then just say you have a boyfriend, saying it’s me would be fine!” However, this guy was immediately met with a cold response. Kha Te flatly refused: “If I say I have a boyfriend, I have to bring him home to meet the family. But bringing a guy like him home would be so embarrassing for me!” Despite her harsh remark, the manager continued to press on, even questioning her criteria for a partner.

In response, the female streamer stated that the manager wasn’t handsome, didn’t have much money in his pocket, and certainly wouldn’t meet her standards. As soon as she finished her statement, the chat audience erupted into laughter. Later in the livestream, Kha Te even asked her viewers whether she should choose someone with money who treats her well, or someone who only has love, without any money or wealth. Some viewers couldn’t help but ask why she didn’t choose someone who met both criteria, but Kha Te admitted that it was indeed hard to find a person like that, and sometimes it’s important to know how to be satisfied.

Shortly after, many viewers commented jokingly that at this rate, she might still be single by the time she turns 40. The story quickly spread, attracting a plethora of comments on social media. Most viewers believe that the female streamer’s candid reaction reflects the psychological reality of many young girls in the streaming industry today, where they frequently encounter “rich guys” online, making it harder than ever to return to ordinary individuals.
