In September 2019, Natalie Brown, a woman from Canada, initially intended to quickly find a recipe before dinner, but accidentally discovered a horrifying secret about her boyfriend, Conor Dolan, that was too shocking to disclose.
According to the Daily Mail, at that time, Brown typed the letter “f” on Dolan’s laptop to search for the Food Network page, but the browser autofilled to a strange website.
Out of curiosity, she clicked on the website and was immediately stunned to see content filled with sensitive images depicting various sexual preferences and trends.
What shocked Brown even more was that the account logged into the website had a profile picture of her boyfriend, Dolan. This profile also displayed Dolan’s location, nude photos, as well as his preferences and sexual tendencies. Even their pet dog, Winston, they both owned, appeared in some pictures.
At the end of Dolan’s personal page, Brown discovered a video capturing intimate moments between her and Dolan. Although the video mainly focused on Dolan, Brown’s face was not clearly visible, but she immediately recognized her body, their familiar apartment, and their bed.

When confronting her boyfriend, Dolan repeatedly apologized and admitted to posting the video. However, he justified that he did not intend to “humiliate” Brown. Dolan promised to delete the video and not to use that sensitive website again.
Initially, Brown chose to trust Dolan, but on Christmas Eve of 2019, she accidentally discovered messages from other women on Dolan’s phone. This made her completely wake up to the reality and decide to break up. Despite this, they remained friends and continued to care for Winston.
Brown thought everything was in the past, until four years later, a male friend complained to her that his girlfriend had used that strange website without his consent. This worried Brown because she had never checked if Dolan had actually deleted the video.
Upon checking, she was horrified to realize that the video was still on the website, Dolan’s account was still active, and even his age information had been updated. Immediately, Brown contacted a lawyer and decided to report to the police.
The police investigation revealed that Dolan had reactivated his account in February 2020, and the video had been circulating online for four years. Finally, after the Canadian Department of Justice, through the CyberScan unit, intervened, the video was deleted from the website.
However, Brown could not be sure that the video had not been stored, shared, or uploaded elsewhere, so she decided to sue Dolan criminally.

Under Canadian law, Dolan was charged with voyeurism and distributing or disseminating private images without consent. Initially, Dolan denied all charges, but during plea negotiations, he admitted to the act of dissemination.
Ultimately, the court sentenced Dolan to four months in prison and permanently prohibited him from contacting Brown. Nevertheless, throughout that time, Brown endured torment from anxiety and fear, and her career and social relationships were severely affected.
However, she still decided to speak out about her story, hoping to raise awareness about the severity of such crimes and to advocate for stricter legal regulations to protect victims.
“My body has been seen, judged, and even used for entertainment by strangers for four years. My privacy has been stripped away, my life has been devastated. But I hope my pain can bring about change,” Brown shared.
