In the world of livestreaming, where female Streamers/Vtubers are increasingly gaining attention and affection from fans, there are also criticisms, especially concerning the issue of “body shaming.”
Recently, a popular female Vtuber known for her alluring style did not hesitate to voice her frustration about being criticized for her appearance when she decided to reveal her face during a livestream.

The girl, who is known as one of the beloved figures in the online community, has made a strong impression with her captivating performance style. She unexpectedly shared on her personal page that she has endured many malicious comments about her appearance. This situation has also occurred with her colleagues.
“Normalizing the fact that vtubers/streamers can be skinny, fat, or however they look, or not resembling models, come on guys. A bunch of guys body shaming a girl, do you feel proud of that with all your comments?”
“You demand streams without a cam, but when I turn it on, you rush in to body shame. Next time I’ll set streams only for Mbs, then you’ll complain about capitalism.”
“I never claimed to be a model or have a perfect body; you guys imagine how I should look, and when I don’t match your expectations, you start criticizing.”
“The reason for this post is that I’m not the only one affected. My friends who stream with their cams also face the same issues, and my channel has even been banned.” – she wrote in a lengthy post.

According to her, when she first started livestreaming, she didn’t want to show her face to maintain some privacy, but after receiving encouragement from fans, she decided to turn on the camera and show her true appearance. However, not everyone welcomed this change. Negative comments, even insults about her body and figure, appeared during her broadcasts.
The Vtuber’s post has attracted significant attention from the online community, especially her fans.
Many people have spoken out to defend and support her, condemning body shaming and calling for everyone to work together to build a healthy online environment free from discrimination or body shaming.

The female Vtuber also hopes that in the future, those working in her field can receive the respect and recognition they deserve, rather than being harshly judged by external factors.
