Surpassing even the most entertaining videos that are vulgar, internet users continue to witness a livestream featuring extremely shocking content and form. Accordingly, a female streamer openly advertised an 18+ app and engaged in extremely inappropriate behaviors during the live broadcast. She even dared to publicly “show” her sensitive areas. The incident quickly caused a storm in public opinion, raising waves of anger and deep concern about ethics and culture in cyberspace, especially concerning the youth.

The livestream began with the female streamer checking in and chatting with the audience. However, she wore a mask and seductive sleepwear. After about 15 minutes, she suddenly changed the topic and began promoting a mobile application. Both the name and interface of the app displayed explicit images, along with suggestive wording about adult content.

At that moment, the female streamer began enthusiastically discussing the “exciting features” of this 18+ app, asserting that it was a “paradise for adult entertainment” with a “huge and diverse content library that is always updated.” She even provided detailed instructions on how to download, register an account, and use the premium service packages.
The peak of outrage occurred when, during the advertisement, the female streamer engaged in extremely vulgar and pornographic acts. She unabashedly performed suggestive movements, even directly lifting her skirt to reveal a part of her sensitive body to the live audience. Her language throughout the livestream was also filled with vulgar terms, alluding to shocking activities for viewers.

This behavior lasted for about 30 minutes, yet the platform took no intervention to cut the stream. Moreover, the livestream quickly spread at an alarming rate across social media, tagged as “sponsored” – an advertising feature that worries netizens.
Most followers expressed strong outrage, deeply concerned about the impact of such harmful content on the youth, particularly adolescents who are easily influenced by the images and messages in cyberspace.
The incident raises a significant question about the responsibility of livestream platforms in content moderation. Have those involved properly followed the review process, and has the moderation team timely intervened? Will similar cases continue to occur in the future?

The incident of the female streamer advertising the 18+ app and showing sensitive areas is not an isolated incident but a warning bell about many pressing issues existing in cyberspace: from lax management of content on some platforms to the rising signs of “black” apps and pornographic content. This event highlights the existence and vigorous operation of apps and websites providing 18+ content openly. These apps not only violate the law but also pose numerous risks concerning cybersecurity, financial scams, and negatively affect users’ mental health.
This is also a strong wake-up call for society about the potential dangers in cyberspace. Without decisive measures and the cooperation of the entire community, pornographic images and content will continue to infiltrate, undermining the noble ethical and cultural values, especially in the context of rapidly advancing technology today.
