Surely, those who have been with League of Legends for nearly a decade must agree that the “awesome” skins have become a hallmark of this game. As a free-to-play game, however, the money that League of Legends players spend on skins is not small at all. For instance, the beautiful skins just released cost 499RP, which means players have to “lightly spend” 250,000 VND – enough to buy a shirt in real life.
But that amount is quite worth it, as Riot’s design team has to invest time and effort, coming up with ideas that align with the story and aesthetics of millions of gamers. One proud point is that many skins are created by the talent of Vietnamese artists.
Most recently, the Jax, the Chaos Blade Warrior skin was created by Duy Nguyen – a familiar name in the Vietnamese gaming community.

This Vietnamese artist is also the familiar author of the Lunar New Year skins that many Vietnamese gamers love, such as Wukong the Great Sun (Lunar Festival event 2016), or most recently, the series of skins for Vayne, the Lunar New Year, Sejuani, the Year of the Pig, and Tahm Kench, the God of Wealth, released during the Lunar New Year of 2019… along with many other beautiful skins.
Interestingly, in the past year, the Sparx – Virtuos Vietnam team has wowed the League of Legends community with a series of wallpapers featuring Shen, Varus, Infernal Galio; Championship Ryze; Sugar Rush Braum, Evelynn, Zigg, Zilean; Dragon Slayer Trundle, Olaf, Diana; Desert Guardian Ryze, Rengar, Janna…
According to Peter Nguyen, all the artists in the team, despite having varying skill levels (from Iron to Diamond…), share an endless passion for League of Legends. With their “awesome” skins, the group has captured the hearts of netizens and received enthusiastic support through social media shares.
Invite everyone to enjoy!
