On the afternoon of January 30, at a government meeting, Deputy Minister of Health Do Xuan Tuyen reported that there are currently 3 confirmed nCoV cases who are Vietnamese citizens returning from Wuhan.
One case is being isolated and treated at Thanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital, while the other 2 cases are being isolated and treated at the second facility of the Central Tropical Hospital.
All three patients share a common epidemiological history: they, along with 5 other Vietnamese, were sent by a Japanese company to China for training in Wuhan City, Hubei Province 2 months ago and returned to Vietnam on the same flight on January 17.

The identities of the patients include Nguyen Thi Tr. (25 years old, residing in Yen Dinh District, Thanh Hoa Province).
On January 17, patient Tr. returned to Vietnam by air through Noi Bai Airport, after which the company picked them up by company vehicle to their headquarters in Thien Ke Commune, Binh Son District, Vinh Phuc Province.
On January 23, the patient took a bus to Giap Bat Bus Station and traveled by passenger bus back to Yen Dinh at 6:00 PM the same day, and around 10:00 PM, the patient exhibited symptoms of fever and cough.
By 1:00 PM on January 24, the patient was taken by family to Yen Dinh District General Hospital for examination and was transferred for treatment at the Tropical Diseases Department, Thanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital in a conscious state with fever and cough. Currently, the patient is being isolated at Thanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital and is in stable condition.

The second patient is Pham Van Ch. (29 years old, residing in Tam Duong District, Vinh Phuc Province). When symptoms began on January 21, the patient visited a private clinic in Tam Duong District, and subsequently went to Vinh Phuc Provincial General Hospital on January 23.
The patient did not recover and was admitted to the Central Tropical Hospital, Giải Phóng facility on January 26. Currently, the patient is being isolated at the Central Tropical Hospital, Giải Phóng facility.
The third patient is Nguyen Thi D. (23 years old, residing in Binh Xuyen District, Vinh Phuc Province). On January 25, the patient took a taxi with her father to be admitted to the Central Tropical Hospital, Dong Anh facility.
Since entering Vietnam on January 17 until hospitalization, this patient has had contact with many relatives and family members.
