Just launching his second MV since starting his solo career, K-ICM seems to be fully focused on music, trying to assert himself after past controversies. However, it appears that success has not yet come his way, as rather than focusing on this new MV titled “I’m Calling For You,” the online community has been more interested in the detail that seemingly features Jack in the MV.
This is understandable, as fans of the duo Jack & K-ICM have sharp eyes and have discovered that this is a product that the two guys took the effort to produce all the way in Thailand. K-ICM himself admitted: “This product was filmed in 2019, but due to some issues, it is only now being released. Initially, it was a meeting between the two, and later both went out together, but it has been edited so that only I appear in the MV“. It can be understood that all images of Jack in the MV have been removed following the rifts between the two.
However, despite efforts to remove Jack’s image, a scene in the MV still leads many to believe that it is indeed the singer. Specifically, in the scene below, although turned away, the matching outfit with K-ICM immediately made many think of Jack. Remember, before their breakup, the two had also posted pictures of themselves wearing this outfit on social media.
Putting this topic aside, K-ICM’s “I’m Calling For You” has received a lot of praise from devoted fans, yet despite being released for 4 days, this new MV has only garnered a meager 400,000 views, a figure not very impressive considering what K-ICM has achieved when collaborating with Jack. Moreover, the number of dislikes is still quite high – indicating that the producer may still be facing backlash from the online community.
