Not long ago, Xoài Non (real name: Trang Phạm) – the young wife born in 2002 of Vietnam’s richest streamer Xemesis held a livestream to answer questions from fans regarding the issue of dropping out of school since 10th grade.
Everything seemed unremarkable until someone asked: “What do you think about people looking down on those who drop out of school?” To this question, Xoài Non confidently asserted: “Studying *** and making a lot of money is better than studying well and not making any money. Society now only needs money, do you understand?”

Immediately, her response sparked a divide in the online community, with many disagreeing and even criticizing Xoài Non’s viewpoint, claiming it was merely an excuse. Conversely, several comments praised her efforts, expressing empathy for her decision to drop out early, believing there must be a reason behind it.
In response to the mixed opinions and online attacks, Xoài Non recently posted a lengthy status to apologize. She shared that after a sleepless night reading every comment and post about herself, she decided to “speak out once, just once, and never again.”
Trang Phạm affirmed that she is not someone to teach others or pressure them to drop out like she did; she has never done that herself. Her mistake was being unclear in the livestream, which led to misunderstandings: “What I meant was that those with degrees who criticize those who are uneducated may not necessarily earn money.”
“As for mentioning anyone’s education, I can assure you that I 100% did not mean it that way. I am not a copy of anyone and I certainly do not want anyone to hate me. You might think I am just justifying my mistakes after reading this. Yes! That’s up to you to decide. When I wrote this status, I truly recognized where I went wrong, and I will learn and take this experience to heart,” Xoài Non added.

Additionally, she expressed frustration about people discussing her personal life: “If I am wrong, people can criticize me, but please don’t drag my personal life, family, and happiness into it. For everyone, family and loved ones are the most important, and for me, it’s the same. Don’t become a malicious person like that!”
“Finally, I want to apologize for my unclear statement that caused disagreements these past few days. I apologize to everyone!” – Xoài Non emphasized that her apology was solely for not communicating her thoughts clearly.
