Recently, a female streamer came up with a very creative method, true to her expertise, which was to use a game to propose to her long-time boyfriend.
This streamer, known as Jenwaaa, had been nurturing the unusual idea of proposing after receiving a beautiful diamond ring from a viewer in the game Animal Crossing. She thought the gift was so wonderful and would be the perfect way to propose to her boyfriend, hoping to surprise him and add more romance. Her plan was clearly laid out: wait for her boyfriend to enter the livestream room and then lead him to the garden in the game, where she had hidden the ring to propose.
True to her plan, after a while, her boyfriend entered the livestream room, and Jenwaaa asked him to pay attention to the game screen. Looking at it, he was very impressed with the sunset in Animal Crossing and thought his girlfriend wanted to show him that graphics. Eventually, the streamer had to hint to her boyfriend: “I’m going to show you something very important,” and then switched scenes to the garden, revealing the ring she intended to use for the proposal.
Not at all shocked, not emotional or anything, the only thing Jenwaaa’s boyfriend left her with was a curt “Okay,” before turning 180 degrees and walking out of the livestream room as if he had something very important to do. This reaction left the streamer almost dumbfounded live on air. It took a while for Jenwaaa to regain her composure, but she still appeared sad on stream. Comforted by fans, Jenwaaa seemed to feel better and tried to brush off the humiliation by claiming she had always joked with her boyfriend by proposing multiple times before, so maybe this time he misunderstood it as a joke.
While it sounds like that, many people believe this is just a way for the streamer to save face and comfort herself. It’s really hard to tell if the story is true as Jenwaaa shared, but it seems quite unfortunate for the guy if he doesn’t realize the implication and makes her sad.
