Call of Duty: Mobile VN has recently launched, but it has faced mixed reactions from the gaming community. Some love it, others dislike it, but ultimately, it is hard to deny the significant appeal that Call of Duty: Mobile VN has brought to the global gaming community as well as to Vietnamese players. Whether you hate it or love it, it must be emphasized that the quality of Call of Duty Mobile is beyond debate.

However, there is a portion of players who believe that Call of Duty Mobile does not deserve that recognition. This is especially true for Free Fire players. Recently, a group of Free Fire players rallied together to rate Call of Duty Mobile one star on CH Play, claiming that Call of Duty Mobile is just a knockoff of “Free Fire.”

Not stopping there, a gamer recently declared that Call of Duty Mobile is a game that follows in the footsteps of Free Fire’s tremendous success. The full content of this “manifesto” is as follows: “After seeing the tremendous success of Free Fire, Call of Duty immediately followed suit. With modes like Team Deathmatch or Battle Royale from Free Fire, Call of Duty has brazenly stolen the modes that brought fame to the game.

Ultimately, Free Fire is an older game that has set the standard for subsequent knockoff games, so it can be said that Call of Duty is a game that mimics the gameplay style.
Furthermore, in the images this gamer illustrated about Call of Duty Mobile, there are insinuations that this game “copies like a kid.” Could this imply that Call of Duty Mobile is a “childish” game that only knows how to mimic Free Fire? Only this gamer knows for sure. It’s also unclear whether this player genuinely believes that Call of Duty Mobile imitates Free Fire or if it was an attempt to “troll” the Free Fire community.

In the official Free Fire group, many players of this game also feel “disgusted” with those who claim that Call of Duty Mobile is a copy of their game. One player expressed frustration, saying, “Hey, you guys are strange. Call of Duty first launched in 2003, and yet many of you are on Google Play calling it a copy of Free Fire? The game came out before Free Fire, is graphically better, has higher requirements, and has a different looting system, so I ask you, where is the copy?”

Time will prove everything; whether Call Of Duty: Mobile VN has “copied” Free Fire or not, the players will find the answer themselves. However, one piece of advice is that if you enjoy the Battle Royale survival mode, Call Of Duty may not excel in this experience, and instead, PUBG Mobile would be a better option.
Call of Duty: Mobile VN is developed by TiMi Studios of Tencent and features the three most popular shooting modes in the world: Multiplayer – an intense 5v5 team battle mode, Battle Royale – a challenging survival mode with extremely high combat pace, and Zombies.
