The European Hardware Association has recently released some intriguing information: 60% of PC gamers in Europe report that they prefer AMD CPUs over Intel. However, instead of going for a full red team setup, most AMD CPU users tend to choose Nvidia GPUs.

This trend stems from the fact that the Ryzen 3000 series processors offer users great performance at an affordable price. However, the red team has yet to release a truly high-performance graphics card that can compete with the GeForce RTX 2080 and above, which is why gamers still prioritize choosing Nvidia for their setups.

The allure of AMD Ryzen is evidenced by the fact that the red team’s processors consistently appear on the best-selling lists. For instance, according to the German retailer Mind Factory, sales of the Ryzen 3000 series processors have been very strong since their launch, with 50,000 Ryzen 5 3600 CPUs already in the hands of users. Correspondingly, motherboards using AMD chipsets are also seeing strong sales.
